This is a exciting opportunity for a electrical engineer to join a well established electrical firm which manufactures and repairs industrial and marine electrical equipment. With over 28 years of experience within the Electrical Industry we are respected within the field and have a large skills base.
A vacancy exists within the Engineering Department for an engineer with experience in the manufacture and repair of:-
· Power Transformers up to 200kVA
· Control transformers
· Instrument Transformers
· Reactive Transformers
· Three Phase and Single Phase Inductors
· DC Chokes
· Current Transformers

The role:
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical transformers and motors.
· Manufacture coils, transformers, control panels, electrical motors (armatures) and fuse panels.
· Reporting to the Supervisor.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering with a good knowledge of transformers and motors. The incumbent must possess a strong electrical aptitude and a proven track record.
· Enjoy technical activities
· A full driving licence is required for offsite installation, maintain, and repair of electrical equipment.
· Repair and manufacture transformers
· An aptitude for mechanics
· Able to do precise and detailed work
· Physically fit
